We regret to inform you that we are full at this point and cannot take any more requests for Airport Pick Up until after September 3, 2008. Thank you for understanding. The University of Denver does provide some shuttle service from the airport, so I recommend you contact the International Office at www.du.edu/Intl

International Students, Inc. (ISI) welcomes you to Denver by offering an airport pickup service. ISI is a recognized Christian ministry at the University of Denver (DU), the University of Colorado Denver and Health Sciences Center (UCDHSC) and others. ISI offers this service to any first-time arriving international students. The airport is about 30 miles outside the city center.

This service is free. However, please understand that
long-term housing arrangements are your responsibility.

Why are we doing this?

Our desire is to make your first impression of the USA and Denver a positive one. We also follow what the Bible says: "Remember to welcome strangers in your homes." (Hebrews 13:2). 
Internationals of all religions are welcome.

Please note

bullet Applications cannot be accepted by telephone. All applications must be in writing.
bulletYour request must be received TEN DAYS OR MORE before your arrival in Denver.
bullet You should receive a response within 72 hours confirming your request. If faxing, make sure you give your fax number including the country code.
bullet Calls cannot be accepted upon arrival at Denver International Airport
by international students who have not made previous arrangements.

What to do after you arrive at Denver International Airport

If arriving on a domestic flight

There is a train that takes you from the concourse to the main terminal. At the main terminal, proceed to baggage claim. Your host will meet you at baggage claim. Your host will hold a sign with your name on it. If they do not come after 30 minutes, go to the information booth and request they page your host.

If arriving on an international flight

Your host will meet you outside Customs. Your host will hold a sign with your name on it.

Looking forward to meeting you

Your American family is looking forward to meeting you. They want to provide meals and a friendly atmosphere for you during your brief stay with them.  After meeting you they will help you get your baggage and take you to their home for the night. The next day they will take you to your next lodging.

This could cause confusion and hurt feelings for all involved.
